Credit cards are accepted at the Grosvenor Plymouth and it reserves the right to temporarily hold an amount prior to arrival.
Cheques
We do not accept cheques as a method of payment
Children
Children under 2 years of age stay free of cost.
For ages above 2, please add the number of children in your group and their ages to your search to see correct prices and occupancy information.
Please note that supplements are not calculated automatically in the total costs and will have to be paid for separately during your stay.
Parking Permits
An all-day visitor permit can be purchased from reception for £10.00 at any time and is valid until 10.00 am the following morning. These are subject to availability.
Cancellation Policy
For smaller bookings, there is a 24-hour cancellation policy before arrival date i.e. if a guest is to arrive on 6th, the booking has to be cancelled before 2 pm (check-in time) on 5th.
The policy is as follows:
There will be no cancellation charge if a flexible booking is cancelled / amended 24 hours before the check-in time begins on day of arrival.
Cancellations made on the day of arrival will result in a charge for the first night stay for any/ all rooms cancelled.
No show, with no communication from the guest, any rooms booked will remain allocated and chargeable for the full stay.
In case of Early Bird booking, there is no refund if cancelled any time. 1 date change per booking is allowed in case the guest is able to travel at a later date based on room availability. If the price of the room at the time of the new booking exceeds the initial room price paid for, guests are to pay the extra charges. If the new booking's room price is below the room price paid for initially, no cash refund will be made.
We do advise all guests to consider travel insurance to cover unforeseen circumstances, as unfortunately the hotel will not waive off any charges for no shows or late cancellations due to transport problems, ill health or inclement weather.
Large Booking
When booking for more than 6 persons or a booking for 7 days and above, different cancellation policies and additional supplements may apply. Please check at the time of booking to avoid issues.
Late Check In
If you are late reaching the hotel it is not a problem. Please just inform reception before 8 pm if possible so that arrangements can be made accordingly. If you need to contact us after reception is closed please call the out of hours number - 01752 249699.
Pets
Pets are not allowed in the hotel
Stairs
There are five floors at the Grosvenor and all rooms (with the exception of our family suite) are up at least one flight of stairs with unfortunately no lift at the hotel. Should mobility be a problem then please let us know when booking so we can attempt to accommodate you on our lowest level available. Also, entrance into the hotel is up six steps with no ramp.
Extra Beds
There is no capacity for extra beds at this property. The maximum number of cots allowed depends on the room you choose. Please check the maximum capacity for the room you selected. All cots and extra beds are subject to availability
